Having just returned from a fabulous Family break at Chalet Espoir I felt I needed to leave a review.

The Chalet has everything we needed for a perfect stay. Cosy open plan lounge area with an enormous deep sofa in front of a roaring fire offering fabulous view of the mountains and well equipped kitchen and dining area. The bedrooms were located on all levels with really comfortable beds and high-end bedding. Each had a beautiful bathroom with heated rails and fluffy towels and robes. In the basement was a useful laundry and drying area and plenty of storage for all our belongings.

Outside of the Chalet was a garage with heated boot racks and storage area for skis and boards. In the garden there is a hot tub which the kids really enjoyed after a day skiing.

Our hosts arranged easy and quick transfers to Ardent and Prodain lift where we could ski in Avoriaz and over to Switzerland. 

In the evening we short walk took us over the bridge and into Morzine where there was a multitude of restaurants and busy bars.

 All in all there was nothing I would have changed about this perfect chalet and we will certainly be going back !!

This chalet is stunning and beautifully decorated.

It is warm and cosy with underfloor heating and every detail has been thought through.

All the bedrooms come with fluffy bathrobes and slippers and all are ensuite.

There is a cinema room to relax after a day on the slopes and the outdoor hot tub is a huge bonus.

The catered food was delicious with 4 tasty courses and amazing wines. Breakfast was delivered every morning and was a real treat of freshly baked croissants and breads.

Skis were delivered and fitted at the chalet on arrival and ski passes were waiting for you. This avoided long queues with everyone else in the ski hire shops.

Within Morzine there are a great range of restaurants and bars for apres-ski. The location of the chalet to the ski lifts is ideal and a short drive away. The skiing was fantastic - we were a group with mixed ability and everyone was happy.

This is a truly great chalet - we cannot recommend this highly enough.

What a wonderful week we had at Chalet D’espoir, first class on every level.  The chalet was utterly stunning, with beautiful views of the surrounding area and just a 10 minute walk into the centre or Morzine. The minibus service offered was a fantastic addition, a perfect door to door service, no walking far distances in ski boots or waiting in bus queues. To get to and from the 2 major ski areas of Ardent and Avoriaz, which were only 5 minutes away,  

The décor, facilities and cleanliness in the chalet were 5 star.  All of the beautifully decorated 6 bedrooms were superbly equipped with the MOST comfortable beds.  All with ensuites so everyone could shower and warm up immediately on returning from the slopes, then sit relaxing in front of the log fire on the very sociable, huge comfy 12 seater sofa with a drink or 2, whilst the kids enjoyed the hot tub overlooking the views of the mountains and the village all lit up at night.  Alex, the incredibly talent chef, came in the evenings to cook for us which was such a treat after a long day on the mountain. We will definitely be booking again for next  year.  Thank you so much Chalet D’espoir for a wonderful week, definitely a week to remember.
